Question by cortney_24: Can search engines read meta tags with french and english on the same page?
I have is a customer whose site of two languages: French and English. This will include both French and English words within the Meta tags mixed. Search engines can detect and read metas that two different languages mixed with each other? Also, if you can do, you have all the examples already know two languages are mixed within the metas? I’m basically looking for proof that search engines actually read the tags?

They can but they have to be structured like this:
.
.
< -- For speakers of British English -->
< -- For speakers of French -->
.
.
You might ask your client why they would want to do this given that all the major search engines ignore the meta tags. Also why do they have two languages on one page instead of two pages with one language each?
