I’m still with version 6.2. If I’m in the meta-tag descriptions in the product range they are still working in the search engines?

im not sure what cre is refering to but Most people still use meta tags because the search engine spiders still look for them.

    It should. The easiest way to tell is by looking at the code of the page. Click on one of the pages you just updated the meta tags and look at the source code

    View > Page Source (Firefox users)
    View > Source (Internet Explorer users)

    If you see your updates within the code, then you know that the CRE Meta tags work. They will look like:

    If you see your changes, then the chances are that the engines will see your changes. If you don’t see that tag or your changes, then neither will the engines. Hop that helped.

    yes they still work on search engines, make sure you have solid keywords and description meta tags so at least you’re covered in that area
